POSITION:  Technical Support Representative

Under general supervision, a Technical Support Representative is needed to provide technical support to internal and external customers to resolve issues and answer questions regarding proprietary software and hardware. These issues include (but are not limited to) software problems, user questions, client requests for customization, and other client support and relations issues. 

Essential Functions:

  • Serves as the primary source and first point of contact for clients in need of technical support, assistance, or software customization.
  • Resolves issues at the lowest level possible, referring more complex problems to the proper support personnel.  Ensures that referred issues are handled efficiently in accordance with the client’s needs.
  • Ensures that data is entered in accordance with technical support documentation policies.
  • Continually seeks to improve client support, relations, and satisfaction through improved information sharing and problem solving processes.
  • Combines technical knowledge with creative thinking and applies those attributes to the mission of total client satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills:

  • Basic understanding of medical practice and insurance billing procedures and policies.
  • Clinical or non-clinical medical office experience.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the medical software field.
  • Previous electronic medical records training experience.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher is preferred, but a high school diploma is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office in general; advanced proficiency in Word and Excel.

POSITION: Medical Billing Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Billing Specialist is a full time, non-exempt position that reports to the Daily Operations Supervisor and/or Team Leader. The Billing Specialist will deliver effective advanced billing services to Revenue Solutions Clients by performing the following duties:

  • Prepares and submits clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper
  • Answers questions from patients, client staff and insurance companies.
  • Identifies and resolves patient billing complaints.
  • Prepares reviews and sends patient statements.
  • Evaluates patient financial status as supplied by client and establishes payment plans in accordance with company policy.  Follows and reports status of delinquent accounts to billing supervisor
  • Reviews accounts for possible assignment and makes recommendations to the billing supervisor. Performs various collection actions including but not limited to: contacting patients by phone, correcting and resubmitting claims to third party payers, submission of appeals and follow up on stalled claims.
  • Processes and produces reports on accounts qualifying for refunds.
  • Prepares refunds to patients and third party payers.
  • Participates in educational activities and attends all staff meetings.
  • Conducts self in accordance with company employee manual.
  • Maintains a “meet and exceed” customer satisfaction evaluation internally and externally.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
  • Other duties may be assigned based upon company business needs

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Education or GED
  • Knowledge of medical billing/collection practices.
  • Proficient in computer & Microsoft programs, including Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of business office procedures
  • Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system
  • Proficient in all areas of TCC and UMC products

POSITION: Implementation Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under general supervision, responsible for the management, implementation and support of clinical EMR solutions, providing leadership, coordination and management activities. Ensures the delivery of exceptional and proactive customer service.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the overall planning and execution of the strategy to deploy our EMR solutions.
  • Establish end user requirements for the EMR based on industry practices.
  • Serves as the key point for planning and leading all aspects of the EMR projects.
  • Leads, mentors and manages other team members to allow them to be successful contributors to the long term integration solution.
  • Establishes a strong working relationship with end user organization and to function as the end users’ representative on technology/business issues.
  • Proactively monitors and accurately communicates regarding project performance using project tools, dashboards, reports and other communication vehicles.
  • Proactively collaborates across projects with other product and cross functional project teams to identify project risks, issues and efficiencies and to avoid scheduling or resource conflicts on inter-related projects. Implements established policies, system monitors and controls to ensure the successful management and reporting of all initiatives in the program.
  • Prepares project timelines, schedules, estimates and resource planning to support key business projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to identify business requirements and translate those into the configuration parameters in the packaged solution.
  • Ability to lead a team, ensuring that resources have clear direction and assignments as well as ongoing follow up.
  • Exceptional ability to identify and track issues and drive them to a conclusion.
  • Experience producing project artifacts to include status reports, business requirements, non-technical design documents, etc.
  • Effective oral and written communication.

POSITION: Client Services Specialist (Corporate Trainer)

  • Work in a team environment to train ambulatory practices to use electronic medical record software and advise clients on improving workflow efficiency.

  • Review and test EMR templates and other EMR software customizations prior to client use.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure implementations are moving in accordance with contract deliverables and project timelines.
  • Act as client's advocate (and subject matter expert) when application changes/projects are proposed internally.
  • Maintain communication logs for assigned clients.
  • Conduct all training preparation work including database, materials, travel request documents, and training environment for training sessions.
  • Make recommendations for the development of teaching aids such as training manuals, demonstration models, visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
  • Manage classes of up to 10 or more students.
  • Provide technical support to new and existing clients.
  • Document all client change requests and ensure completion of them.

  • An Associate degree is required, though a Bachelor degree is preferred, in training, computers, medical, or related field.
